Susan Alexandra "Sigourney" Weaver
Susan Alexandra „Sigourney” Weaver (născută pe 8 octombrie 1949) este o actriță americană. Weaver este considerată o pionieră a eroinelor de acțiune din filmele de science fiction. Este cunoscută pentru rolul Ellen Ripley din franciza Alien, care i-a adus o nominalizare la Premiul Oscar în 1986 și este adesea considerată unul dintre cele mai semnificative personaje feminine protagoniste din istoria cinematografiei. Fiind de șapte ori nominalizată la Premiul Globul de Aur, Weaver a câștigat atât premiul pentru Cea mai bună actriță în dramă, cât și premiul pentru Cea mai bună actriță în rol secundar în 1988 pentru munca sa în filmele „Gorili în ceață” (Gorillas in the Mist) și „Fata de serviciu” (Working Girl), devenind prima persoană care câștigă două premii Globul de Aur pentru interpretare în același an.
