Michael Madsen
Michael Madsen
Urodzony 25 września 1958 roku amerykański aktor. Aktorskiego rzemiosła uczył się w Steppenwolf Theatre Company w Chicago, gdzie jednym z jego nauczycieli był John Malkovich. Debiutował w 1982 roku w filmie "Against All Hope". Od tego czasu regularnie pojawiał się w małych rolach, głównie gangsterów, psychopatów lub naciągaczy. W 1991 roku zagrał w dramacie "Thelma i Louise" Ridley'a Scotta. Rok później wcielił się w swą najsławniejsza postać, Victora Vegę, we "Wściekłych psach" Quentina Tarantino. Dzięki temu występowi Madsena zaangażowano do dwóch części "Uwolnić orkę" (1993 i 1995), westernu "Wyatt Earp" oraz thrillera s-f "Gatunek". W 1997 roku wcielił się w głowę mafijnej rodziny w gangsterskim filmie "Donnie Brasco". Mniej więcej w tym samym okresie zaczął pojawiać się w tanich filmach sensacyjnych i horrorach, wydawanych bezpośrednio na rynek wideo a później DVD. Czasem jednak udawało mu się wystąpić w wysokobudżetowych produkcjach, chociażby dwóch częściach "Kill Bill" Tarantino (2003 i 2004) oraz adaptacji komiksu "Sin City - Miasto grzechu" Roberta Rodrigueza (2005). Jego pierwszym sukcesem po wielu latach okazała się rola w ostatnim filmie Tarantino - westernie "Nienawistna ósemka" (2015).
