Τζιμ Κάρεϊ
Ο Τζιμ Κάρεϊ (17 Ιανουαρίου 1962) είναι Καναδός ηθοποιός. Έγινε γνωστός το 1990 με την τηλεοπτική σειρά In Living Color. Οι πρώτοι του πρωταγωνιστικοί ρόλοι σε μεγάλες παραγωγές έγιναν το 1994 με τις ταινίες Ace Ventura: Ντετέκτιβ Ζώων (Αce Ventura: Pet Detective), Η Μάσκα (The Mask, 1994) και Ο Ηλίθιος και ο Πανηλίθιος (Dumb and Dumber, 1994). Το 1997 πρωταγωνίστησε στην κωμωδία Ο Ψευταράς (Liar Liar) για την οποία έλαβε υποψηφιότητα για Χρυσή Σφαίρα α' ανδρικού ρόλου. Αργότερα πρωταγωνίστησε στις καλλιτεχνικές επιτυχίες Ζωντανή Μετάδοση: The Truman Show (The Truman Show, 1998) και Άνθρωπος στο Φεγγάρι (Man on the Moon, 1999), κερδίζοντας δύο Χρυσές Σφαίρες α' ανδρικού ρόλου. Το 2000 πρωταγωνίστησε στην ταινία Ο Κατεργάρης των Χριστουγέννων (How the Grinch Stole Christmas) και τρία χρόνια αργότερα στη μεγάλη εισπρακτική επιτυχία Θεός για μια εβδομάδα (Bruce Almighty). Το 2004 πρωταγωνίστησε στην ταινία Η Αιώνια Λιακάδα Ενός Καθαρού Μυαλού (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) για την οποία έλαβε υποψηφιότητα για Χρυσή Σφαίρα και BAFTA. Ακολούθησαν οι ταινίες Λέμονι Σνίκετ: Μια Σειρά Από Ατυχή Γεγονότα (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, 2004), Όλα τα Λεφτά (Fun with Dick and Jane, 2005), Ναι σε Όλα (Yes Man, 2008) και Ο Κος Πόπερ και οι Πιγκουίνοι του (Mr. Popper's Penguins, 2011).
