John Cleese
John Cleese
John Marwood Cleese (nato il 27 ottobre 1939) è un attore, comico, scrittore e produttore cinematografico inglese. Ha raggiunto il successo all'Edinburgh Festival Fringe e come sceneggiatore e interprete di The Frost Report. Alla fine degli anni '60 è diventato un membro dei Monty Python, la compagnia comica responsabile dello sketch show Monty Python's Flying Circus e dei quattro film dei Monty Python: And Now for Something Completely Different, Holy Grail, Life of Brian e The Meaning of Life. A metà degli anni '70, Cleese e la sua prima moglie Connie Booth, hanno scritto e interpretato la sitcom britannica Fawlty Towers. Successivamente, ha recitato insieme a Kevin Kline, Jamie Lee Curtis e l'ex collega di Python Michael Palin in A Fish Called Wanda e Fierce Creatures. Ha anche recitato in Clockwise ed è apparso in molti altri film, inclusi due film di James Bond, due film di Harry Potter e tre film di Shrek.
