Md Inteajer E Jahan Uday known as "Uday Bangali" was born on November 20, 1993 in Jamalpur district. While studying Mass Communication and Journalism, he began working as an assistant to filmmaker Redoan Rony. In 2017, Uday's journey as a television director began with the production of the television drama "Backspace". Kankaboti, Baisakhi Hawa, Chaileo Paina are some of his notable fictions. He has told stories of women, children and animal rights in short films like Where love based on hope, Fathomable and Proportional. Uday's films have been selected at various film festivals around the world, including the Lift-Off Global Film Festival in the UK and the Caribbean Film Festival in the US. In 2019, “Proportional” won “Best Short Film” by UN Women. Lutfar Rahman George, Dilara Zaman, Arman Parvez Murad, Sohel Arman, Aparna Ghosh, Irfan Sajjad, Urmila Srabanti Kar, Marzuk Russel, Chashi Alam, Sharmin Ankhi, Uzzal Kabir Himu are among the performers in his productions.
